It has come to our attention, through the official website of the U.S. Department of the Treasury\u00e2\u0080\u0099s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and certain media reports, that our Bank has been subjected to the OFAC-SDN sanctions based on allegations that it facilitated purported Iranian oil transactions through China using gold and cash in 2022.<\/p>\r\n

Our Bank commenced its operations on June 1, 2020, with the authorization granted by the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA). Since its establishment, our Bank has consistently and rigorously complied with all applicable local and international banking regulations, practices, and compliance requirements, without exception, and has successfully completed all internal and external audit processess.<\/p>\r\n

Our Bank has not conducted any banking transactions that could substantiate the reports referred to above. The individuals and entities named in the relevant OFAC decision, whose transactions our Bank is alleged to have facilitated, have never been and are currently not customers of our Bank. Furthermore, our Bank has had no direct or indirect business relationship or conducted any transactions whatsoever with these individuals or entities.<\/p>\r\n

There are no banking transactions conducted by our Bank that could substantiate the allegations referred to above. In accordance with applicable local and international legislation, we will exercise all our rights of objection and legal recourse in the most effective manner and will take the necessary actions at the earliest against these allegations and the decision, which are entirely unfounded and inconsistent with the facts.<\/p>\r\n

Furthermore, our Bank has the financial strength and determination to fulfill all of its obligations towards its stakeholders.<\/p>\r\n
